yea i'm not trying to shoot down your style or anything, i just think that you'll be a lot happier with a 16" rim in the same sort of style. Looks and comfort.

I bought 17" rims thinking I wouldn't mind the harsh ride. Well I was definitely wrong. In fact, I have 15" rims coming on Tuesday because of how harsh the ride is. lol

I still wouldn't put the ghetto rims on though man. Not me but a bunch of people will rip on you for the rims.

Just get what you like. If you want the big rims and like them, buy them. Its your car and money, not ours. The ride with big rims isnt too bad. You just have to avoid hitting big pot holes. Ive hit plenty of things that should have messed up my rims, but they were fine (luckily) If you get the 18"s, just know that you'll have to be easy on bumps and pot holes.

Please go 16" or less...17's just look odd on a Civic. Personally, Im not a huge fan of those wheels either. Some 16" rota slips would probably look sick if your car is lowered, but that's a totally different look that what it sounds like you're going for.

In the end, it's your car, so do what you want. But before you get 17", make sure you see some other civics with 17's so you can see what they look like.

(16's in my sig for referenc)

Your wrong! The ride is horrible with big rims. I have been in cars that have 18's on them the ride sucks
