Plethorics Hatch
i dont think there is to many people that would argue that... a N/A motor is more reliable because its less that can go wrong. nothing wrong with a turbo on a DD vehicle if you have thought about every possible weak link and dealt with them. and also keep an eye on the gauges.
i myself would love to have the power from a turbo but dont have that much $$$$ for the reliable setup. so im keeping mine NA.

I have looked into LS/V a lot, and from what I have read on many sites from many people who have done it the right way, the motor would need a slight rebuild every 40k miles. While thats only about every 3 years for me, its still something to consider. And the cost of LS/V. People seem to think you buy the head spend a couple hundred on the LS/V conversion and your done...there is much more to it. And if I did do it, id want to build the head and get a nice tune. $$$
Low boost. The LS is already low compression so it will handle boost well. I know 2 people with 300hp tunes running around my area with LS swaps and have been fine for about a year now. One guy even ran a 380 tune for about 6 months on a stock LS bottom. I do plan on building the head though. I plan on shooting for around 275hp.
Its my DD, but within the next year or two Ill have no problem buying a daily beater. Plus once I take my journeymans test, my company will give me a take home truck. Whats up with the clutch that keeps you from DD your LS EF? I have a stage 3 in mine and it feels fine. Its a cable trans with the conversion bracket.
Tinted my tail lights I picked up at pull-a-part the other day and put them on. Also got some Pioneer 6.5" speakers for the doors. They took a little dremel magic to get to fit right, but they sound great.
