Default Problem with debaging

I got the CIVIC off, but it seems like its engraved alittle still....and GOOF-OFF isnt cutting it. Peanut butter? what else should I do. Its hard to see but the reflection still catches the eye, and I feel if it goes out in the sun it will be greatly noticable. Any ideas to get it fully off?

I got the SI off now. I washed the area and then dryed, and put Zaino wax over the area. And ill find out what it turns out to be. Maybe the sun will deteriorate it overtime and start to blend in with the rest of the car color. Heres some pics, the after picture might be alittle smuggey looking in the 2 areas where the debagging took place, because I have wax on it at the moment

I had the same problem with mine. Just keep washing the car on your normal routine, and a couple wax jobs later you won't be able to see it anymore

What is the reasoning behind de-badging? When I first layed eyes on the Si I liked the subtle clues that this was a higher performance Civic. Not real gimicky like other manufacturers. Just wondering...

It makes it look cleaner...and having just a Type R "H" (Red "H") on just the back and front, it makes it look better. Think about it this way...if a stock civic si came out with just the H on the back and didnt show the Civic or SI you wouldnt think anything of it, you probly wouldnt say, "hey I wish they had a civic and si badge on the back. To me, its just alittle too much, im a plain type of person...and I think it looks alright with just a red H symbol on the back car

EDIT: I'll get some pics up tomorrow of everything off it (stickers, civic/si) and see how everyone thinks of it after I give it a bath

I don't know about the gasoline... Take some clay bar to it, make sure the clay is clean. that should get most if not all of it off. And ifthe gluedoesn't come off completely, take some polish(anything Meguairs,3M, ETC)with a clean buff pad and hand buff away and it will take the rest of the glue off.

*edit* i have a black car and it came out perfect, just to let ya know from expierence.

i wouldnt use anythink like gasoline or claybar on a brand new car, could possiblyruin the clear coat. just wash and wax the car and occasionnaly use goof-off or goo gone stuff, it'll eventually come off.
