Default Projector Lights

I'm going to buy some projector lights off ebay for my 95 hatchback. I currently have an HID system in my car but the bulbs are like taped to the stock headlights cuz they dont fit. The previous owner really did a bad job on the lights.
So my question is can I order projector lights, and use HID bulbs? The guy I asked on ebay was for these lights:
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...DME:L:RTQ:CA:1
When I asked he said they were not HID compatible. I asked what bulb they use and he said H1. Doesn't that make it HID compatible?
Maybe someone could help me out.
Thanks so much

most projectors can fit some hid bulbs BUT ya might have to do some MINOR trimming on the headlight housings to make the bulbs fit in the hole..... BUT with the TAPED in HIDs.... not recomended!!!!!!!
all depends if the HIDs that are in the car are that H1 size or not.... and are they real HID bulbs/ballasts or just bulbs? if just bulbs than fake cheap hids...... id trash them before they melt the stock wiring....

Well why would I need a whole new kit? Couldn't I just get two new bulbs, or do they have to be specific for the kit?
Should i order the lights even though he said they weren't HID compatible? Because he said they use H1 bulbs, and dont they make H1 HID bulbs?
So basically should I order the projectors and will i be able to get hid bulbs working with them?

I liked these the best and was hoping to order them:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/92-93...27473606QQrdZ1
Sorry for posting again but i want to buy them before it ends.
So will I be able to modify it to fit h1 HID bulbs? The owner told me it uses h1 bulbs and is not compatible with HID but couldn't tell me why not. Do you think I should still get them?

Also one more question was one of my hid bulbs is burnt out on my 95 civic right now. Will I be able to get new bulbs (h1 for the projectors if they could fit?) or should I get a whole new HIDkit if the bulbs could fit the projectors?

Sorry for double posting but im in a hurry.
Thanks again

well TYPICALY replacing the bulbs costs just as much as awhole new kit.....
for alittle more money id rather have new bulbs and ballasts.... just remember to NOT TOUCH THE BULB GLASS.... if ya touch the glass the oil from your fingers will make the bulb fail ALOT FASTER!!!!!!!

and yes the hids can fit with minor trimming of the headlight housings.... a simply dremel will make the hole large enough for them to slide right in.

k thanks ive ordered the lights and found a shop who will do the work for me
I found bulbs on ebay that might work, what do you think?
Here is one example of the many sellers of HID bulbs:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/8000K...29830852QQrdZ1
They let you choose which size, i want to try the 8000k bulbs, my old ones were 5000k ibelieve, will the 8000k bulbs work with my ballasts?
It shows that for an extra like 10 bucks you can purchaseanAMP connector if your current kit doesn't have one, do you think these bulbs would work with my kit? I believe my kit is a "Matsu****a" it's called. I hope these bulbs could work and then it would save me alot of money, the bulbs would be like $100 for both, while a new kit would be like $400. So you think that would work?

Thanks for all ur help dude

They should work if the connections are the same. I have not yet upgraded my lights yet but soon will, I think you would like the 6000k. I ran that kelvin on my Xterra and it was very bright.. Most 6000k are blue but I had to replace my bulbs and went for a violet and I thought it was more brighter that the ones before.
I think your projector lights with the right kelvin would look awesome.I have Ket connection on my HID KIT so it's harder to find some one with the same connection...
I hope this helps...

Good Luck
