Default projectors installed, question...

just put my projectors in am very happy with them. the light output is great and i noticed a cut off line on the low beam. i know hids are way more intense but if and when i install hids in the projectors will there still be a cut off line or will it just be completely blurred with hot spots everywhere? anyway check out the before and after pics,i think its a huge improvement on the look of my car. i'll add some night pics later.

HID's in projectors are actually the best way to have hid plug n play, since the projector has a shield to limit the out put of the light. Unless the bulb is miss aligned the cut off will be just as good as it is now, the hot spots will only be brighter if they projector has hot spots (.
I'm all for hid pnp in projector units, but make sure to aim the projectors properly, other wise you'll be blinding people and that's no good with halogen or hid.

And finally, Don't spend over 140 bucks on HID pnp, most units are made from the same plants and the higher cost is simple markup profit on the sellers end. I've purchased from a guy on ebay who's kits after shipping are 100 bucks and I've yet to have a complaint with them (installed on a buddies car).

I want to get those lights pretty bad for my car but dont want to worry about someone trying to breajk in to steal them.

They looks pretty damn sexy on your car though.

I dont think people are going to steal your headlights, unless your living in a crazy bad neighborhood.

The headlights look really good!

i just hada 2-way compustar installed. i think theyd have to steal the car to get the headlights andunless they come with a flatbed they prolly wont get my car. thanks for the comments guys. i wanna get clear tails next cuz i'm not digging the red/amber, rather have red/clear.

You know what you should do with your tails? Either use nightshades on them or get black/clear altezzas. I think the black altezza's aren't too bad, and they'd compliment your black projectors (which look very familiar for some reason lol)

Anyway, the cutoff is there on any projector headlight, and changing the bulbs won't do anything. Look at your headlights in the sunlight... if you look at the right angle, you can see the cutoff in the lens of the light. It's there to shield oncoming drivers from your lights (notice how it'sa step-down design; the left side is lower than the right. Think about it... oncoming drivers will be on the left side of your car).

And just so you know, prepare to have a bunch of people flash their high beams at you at night... with projectors, people tend to think you're using your highs when you actually have your lows on.

black/clear altezzas... hmmm... never seen them. i will definitely look into them though cuz they would prolly fit my color scheme best. and yes thanks reaper for helping me find a good set of projectors the quality is top notch and i'm glad i stayed away from ebay. i have noticed that the left cut off is lower, i was going to adjust them but i think i will leave them as they are.
