gsumano, why didn't you paint your valve cover a dark blue to match the intake? just curious

preaty nice bay thier! only thing id sugest is stick with one color.... not a fan of that baby blue cover... tho the intake blue is preaty nice.

- Oil Cap
- Valve Cover
- Spark Plug Wires
- Painted Intake
- Wiper Fluid Cap

And if you wanna go all out, pull the engine out and paint the whole engine bay.

That was the only high temp blue color autozone had at the time[&:]

was that the only store and the only time you could do it? sounds like u were in a rush.

I also went to krangen, but they didn't have any high temp paint at the moment. Yeah, I was in a rush, it was raining season and I did it a few days before having to start spring semester (<<< can't take car with me, parking space to damn expensive).

just use some good car paint

i havent tried painting mine with standard paint YET but i will within a year....

i think it would be alright as long as that first coating was a good bond.....
ive seen pleanty of people paint thier engine blocks with standard paint i believe....
thats how ill do mine most likely.....

but if it would realy burn off i guess i could just get some caliper paint cause i want my motor black anyways..
