Quick HID question

Default Quick HID question

ok i have an 03 lx and i have projectors and i want to put hids in them on the chart at the bottom of this link which ones do i get? btw i want 3k yellow

You have projectors so it wont be the stock bulbs. Best way to find out is go out to your car and pull out a lightbulb and see what it is

the bulb in your prjector is either an h1 or an h3

since you have projectors, you will only be able to have lowbeams, if you want high beam hids you have to buy another set. It will be fine with just the low beam set

thats what im running right now i have a set of h1 mccullough h1 hids on my proector... was gonna use my old ebay hids for my high beam since its an h1 also but i kinda dorpped both ballast in the water

the numbers by the diff colors, does that mean a difference in brightness??? are the purples the brightest?? and isnt there a law in some states about how bright they can be? like 10k max? or am i just full of it?

the different numbers mean the color, the higher you go the less light output but more color output. pretty vague, but a good guideline to go by, and technically, while only cops with nothing to do will pull you over, any aftermarket light is illegal. at least from what i know.
