well with a wrinkle stuff you can try some wrinkle paint and dont put abunch on it.... now IT WONT wrinkle right away.... takes about 1/2-1hour for it to wrinkle but it will wrinkle.... the more paint you slap on it the more/larger wrinkle will be...
and with the gasket if its a new gasket they say you shouldnt need any BUT ive done that before it its always leaked alittle SO lately i just dont chance it... see the worst leaky spots is right in that cam section.... anywhere its not flat or slow turns should be fine... BUT that harsh 90degree humps for the cam shaft on both sides is the trouble some areas that just dont wanna seal right thier in the crack... so i just do a dab in those corners on the head and then put the valve cover with the seal onto it...
i used some HONDABOND.... got it from dealership BUT any kinda sealer should be fine...

cause i just bought a can of duplicolor high temp paint in red but like i said i wan it to look as oem as possible. im in betweem red or black but that wrinkle finish looks so sexy. problem is i have NO IDEA where to get that type of paint here in PR. and and i cant buy off ebay cause they onlt ship it ground
the honda civic service manual i have says to use liquid gasket when you replace the gasket. i painted my valve cover and decided to replace the gasket too, but when i talked to the guy at advance auto when i bought my gasket he said i didn't need to use liquid gasket.
so far, no sign of leaking...unless it's just really slow.
i also used a torque wrench and used the specs in the service manual so that probably helped a little.

ya some people dont have leaks... BUT quite a few people do... its just luck
but to save a headache just put a dab of sealer around the cam lifted area for security.. and to keep your motor clean...
