Im thinkin bout puttin race seats in my car. Which seat is better? Recaro, Bride, Sparco, or Status? And how can I test these seats out (I live in Orange County)?

Given that you named pretty much the best seats possible, the one that you like and can afford is the better one. As for testing them out....somebody on here may be able to help out in that department.

Unless you are building a serious race car, Bride, Recaro and even Sparco to some extent are a waste of money IMO, there are seats out there that are of comparible quality and weight for 1/2 the price.

I would think that there would probably be a tuner shop or two around town that would carry seats.. maybe I'm wrong though

all of the seats that you named are REALLY nice. i like sparco myself because they have a huge selection of diff. styles. but if u wanted something cheaper, id go with recaro.

I'd considered getting those as well. How well do they hold you in place?

you could also consider getting gsr seats. they run pretty high too but are very light and are all leather
