hum... when ya painted your tails you where to far away from them.... yours have a overspray look.....
my tails dont have any clear coat on them and they are shiny as hell with no extra sanding or polishing!

i still have to redue mine tho to keep my lower turnsignal and MAINLY backup light areas clear....
tho with the headlights id advise if you want to do that buy some headlight covers and then paint them.... with only 1 layer of tint it wont look evenly sprayed at all!

and with the fog lights just use some window tint.... the lenses are realy small and if you had to sand them clean it would be hell to do! but regular window tint could just peel off and alittle glue remover to completly remove them if ya decide to....

i thought forsure my carbon fiber style headlight covers wouldnt block much light BUT I WAS WRONG.LOL if i had to drive in an area i didnt know at night id be pullen them off!!!!!!! and im also wanting to put on some 6K HIDs preaty soon... i put some 6K hids on my dads jimmy and well it hasnt moved in a good 6months so i plan on stealing them back and switchen out the bulbs.LMFAO HE WILL NEVER KNOW THIER GONE.LOL we got to many cars.LOL

I used all the paint in the freaking CAN. However, the taillites looks like crap!!! How d you do it?

i sprayed it alittle slower o it put more tint on them... just give them pleanty of time between coats to dry!

you could try to lightly sand them with some realy fine 2000grit sandpaper and then use some rubbing compound and wax to shine them back up.... hopefully it would work nicely....

but when i tinted my tails i think i only used like alittle less than half of my can....
if you already used a can of the nightshade stuff then your definatly spaying them to far away which is geting more tint in the air then on the sprayed item.LOL


you can always get some cheap plexiglass or someting and test it out alittle to find the right overlap, spray speed and distance from the object....
ive painted quite a bit... realy takes practice!

i can get some 6K hids for 215bucks but i was realy wanting to get my fog lights and SI front grill first... BUT the dealer guy im trying to buy from hasnt responded to my email yet....
so if he doesnt respond today i guess ill just buy the 6K hids....
