Default rear debadging

I know this is talked about alot, but do all the badges on the back require body filler when you remove them? I'm talking about the "civic", and Ex, hx, dx, etc. Thanks for the help

There are two little holes left when you remove the badges. I chose to put a little bondo in the holes and then painted the bondo with touch-up paint. That's the cheap/easy method.

oh, sorry, my bad. I thought you were talk about if the different models have the holes. I thought, duh, of course. BUT, no, the "civic" and "dx" hx" "ex" "lx" "cx" "vx" don't have the holes underneath. They just are sticky as heck.

yeah its real easy to scratch the paint removing them, i've ever heard that goo gone can take soem of the wax off on your car. Just use your fingernail/fishing line behind the badge and slowly go back and forth behind the badge before it comes off.

and yeah, only the H has holes behind it.

You should also use something to warm it a little bit like a hairdryer/heatgun to weaken the adhesive.

I am thinking on debadging my hood, but i don't want to have the holes there. But the hood was replaced in March of 05 cause the car was in an accident. and i can see wheree the holes are supposed to be, so i don't know if the propler drilled new holes or used a stick on badge.... anyone know of a way to tell ot not?
