Here my tails after two coats, i want to go darker tho, are there bulbs that I can buy that will show throught the tint a little better? They shine through decently right now, but after another coat I think it'll be too dim for during the day.

just get some brighter bulbs probably, and yeah i would have gone one shade lighter or like you said darker. not too shabby though.

 

i like how they look...as soon as i get mine i will be doing that as well.

 

yea im def gonna do ay least 1 more coat, are thereany suggestedtypes of bulbs that I could buy that are brighter than the other ones?

well see THATS why i kept my lower clear part clear and did my custom superflux leds in the clear section also

cause at night time THIERS NO PROBLEM! BUT during the day... it can be a real problem!

expetialy if your cops in the area dont like ya or custom cars.LOL
i had a cop follow me afew days ago and waited at a stop light behind me and turned into best buy and stoped right behind me when i parked and the Fer FINGERED me over to him.... WTF what a *****!!!!! and tells me to remove my liscence plate cover..... thats a blablabla 100dollar ticket.... BOOOOOOOOOO im not removing my illegal 20%window tint from my liscence plate. LMFAO ya its illegal SURE i made it myself.... hahahaha but after being pulled over a FEW times for just warning stuff he is the first ***** to say anything about it... just LOOKEN for something to be a ***** about thinking im a young kid.....

Finished with my tails, got the pic below. The lights work well in both day and night, but would like the brake lights to be a little brighter, does anyone know what number the bulb is for the brake lights in LED?

Dayum Nice. Clean up that car and it will match up very nicely. Check the sylvania site. It tells you what type of bulbs you use for every bulb in your car

 

well with the brake lights ya do have the 3rd brake lights in the spoiler

and you could always do some customizing with it as well....

with some resistors and diodes you could make your 3rd brake light a directional signal as well...
i did it with my old jimmys 3rd brake light.... half of it would flash with the turn signals... just had to tap into the brake lights of the tails....BUT with it being seperate bulbs on a civic... hum.... id have to think more to get it right...

i guess that would be quuite a task that way.... i did it on my trucks led lights as well.....
maybe tie into the turn signal and use it straight wired with a diodeto half the 3rd brake leds, and for the brake light use a resistor and diode... but that would make the brake lights dimmer so you could see the turn signals beter....




o well......... thats why i kept my lower clear with afew bright leds.LOL
it may not look as sick as a full tint BUT its a whole lot more practical for daily driving...
