Default Rear Window Banner

I got a really cool rear window banner from the Tire Rack, and am considering putting it on the top of my rear window. However, the defrosters are on the inside and are also stuck to the window. Does anybody know what defrosters do to decals like that, or of I ever have to sell the car and remove the banner, will it take my defrosters with it? Also, the banner is white, so the defrosters might show up a little, does anybody else have a decal across the top of their rear window and know how it looks?

i thought the defrosters were in between the window. i know the back window is tempered but i don't think if u take it off they will come with it cause how would u tint it. I don't think u would have any prob with it. it might discolor after time cause of sun light and if u have tinted back window and u remove it after a year or so then the outline of it might still be there in the tint from the sun but i don't think u will have any prob with the derosters.

i used to have a university of maryland sticker on the inside rear window right above the brake light and on the defrosters and never had any problems with melting or anything like that...im pretty sure the defrosters are inside the glass and they prolly dont get THAT hot, prolly be the same as sitting ur car out on a real hot summer day..

is the banner going to be outside the car on the glass? if it is you won't have a problem. on the inside of the window if you put stickers over the defrosters they might not work, on mine they don't work anymore when i had my nra sticker inside the back glass, just the ones that were covered by the sticker

I took a closer look at my rear window, and the defrosters are on the inside, you can feel them when you run your finger on the inside of the glass. However, I was getting ready to put the decals on and the realized that you can't put them on from the inside because the adhesive is on the wrong side for that. I don't really think it would look great on the outside of the glass, so I'm not gonna put it on. And don't worry, I would never ricify my car, it's all just about the subtle details, and I think I might get a civic banner or maybe and HCF one, but whatever it is, it's not gonna look ricey.
