Default red interior lighting

i cut out a red thin plastic piece and put it into my interior light so i wouldnt have to buy a new light bulb and this works just as well as one think. if you dont want to use neons but u want to add a lil color to ur interior, i suggest this, only takes a couple mins to cut and put it in, no wiring either. i tryed to get a pic of it but its to dark out and the flash kinda takes away the "glowing" effect but i think u can get a good idea of wut it'll look like from this pic.

alright i tried again but its very hard to get pics at night. even with an $700 sony DSC-V3 7.2 megapixel cypershot 4X optical zoom camera..its low quality cuz i was using some special night mode...if u cant get an idea from the pics of wut it would look like, try it out real quick when u have spare time, its real quick and easy to do.

Looks good, I just put a thin coat of High Temp blue paint I had on my bulb, works the same really.

i dunno wut plastic it was but its just a really thin transparent piece that i cut out....u might be able to use some colored transparent tape too and just tape it in there over the light. u could prolly find something along the lines of that plastic or tape at home depot or some hardware store. just hold it up to the light and see if it goes thru it well. standing outside the car about 15-20ft, it looks really really sweet ill try and get some better pics tonight from in my garage when its like pitch black out, maybe that'll work.
