i was thinking that the oem unit is kinda boring... i was going to see if i could somehow rewire one from another car, not sure which one yet, but one that i like better and have it work in there... but for now i just painted the stock one black

haha, yeah my car has an airbag, but when i was talking to my dad about it he just said "well i guess with a racing wheel you have to compromise the airbag" so i dont think he cared that much... anyone know much about the steering wheels on ebay? good deal? names such as spoon sport and whatever? just wanted to know your guys opinions on them...

Racing wheel would be cool and would also be less work. When I did my color change on my '92 I painted the steering wheel black then I put a black leather steering wheel wrap on it so I didn' have to worry about paint coming off from daily use. Looked pretty good, just another option for ya. If you could find a nice racing wheel, that would probably add more character to the overall scheme though...

well i got all the door panels off and i bought this vinyl stuff... cost me like 18 bucks a yard but it will look good i hope. I tried it on the first panel and bc of the green glue on there... it wouldnt stick right, plus it didnt feel like the 3m 90 was strong enough to hold it... any suggestions as to what else i could use, and where i could get it?

if you are going to redo fabric on door panels i found that the 3m 90 stuff isnt strong enough... i had to bump it up to this rubber cement... i got some pics of the rear doors that i got done today... i only had time to get two bc my camera just died haha what luck...

These are the panels with the white vinyl in there.... the one still needs to be cut out, the front doors im still working on, it got too dark for me to see anymore haha, let me know what you guys think

the only thing i vinyled is the door panel inserts... so far anyway, the dash was a vinyl spray paint, and the white was some krylon plastic bonding stuff...

as for the airbag... i mean i would like to keep it... but i need to do something about the wheel... i've got some pics of my progress thus far, and the grey wheel sticks out like a sore thumb...
