Default Removing the Stickers

I read the De-Badging thread, but unless I am mistaken it refers to taking of the 'emblems'. I want to take off those ugly 'stickers' that say Civic and EX (plus the completely faded dealer one).

Any suggestions on how to do this?

They are also talking about the "sticker emblems". They are referring to the same thing as you are.

I see. So hairdryer and goo-gone, with a credit card to do the scraping if necessary?

I used Dental Floss rather than the credit card. That way you can make a sawing motion and they pop right off. The floss will snap a couple times, but it works liek a charm

Dental Floss, for a Sticker? Does that work?

are you referring to actual stickers? Like not an actual emblem, but just a peel and stick sticker? I assume so, in which case, no dental floss will probably not work. The above posts led me to believe you were pulling the big thick emblems off. My bad

Yeah, to be clear I am talking about the actual stickers that are on the back of my 95 EX. I assume that is the way the car came, but I could be wrong. It is an actual 'sticker'. Not a sticky badge.

Does the previous still hold?

for stickers, what i have seen done in the past is get a hair dryer and heat them up then they should jus peel off,or use like a creat card and give them a little scrape after you heated it, you are still going to need goo gone or rubbing alcahal to get the access glue stuff off..

I would stick to goo gone, its not quite as harsh on your paint as alcohol. And i wasnt aware that they put stickers on civics, i thought they all had bandges, obviously i was wrong!
