replacing right front fender

could someone please explain to me or point in the right direction of how to replace right front fender on a 1998 honda civic ex coupe? my old one is rusting and im going to replace it with another oem fender. also do you take off front bumper? thanks

theres a bolt connected to the front bumper and the fender in the wheel well. then there should be like 3 or 4 on the top. then mabye one in the back of the wheel well

3 bolts at the top of the fender, and a couple more by the door hinges


the front bumper has some bolts at the bottom, some bolts at the top (i don't know how to remove the upper grille), and one bolt on each end of the bumper, connected to the fender.

I'm replacing my front right fender as well. Some ***hole hit my car in the parking lot and just drove off...while i was inside target gettin some stuff.

did you already get fenders or no?? you should get jdm ones =]

Yeah, same as what these guys said. 3 bolts on the top of the fender under the hood. You have to open the door to get the two bolts by the hinges. There's one behind the side of the bumper cover, so that does have to come off. Then there are some screws and clips on the inner fender liner that have to come off. I think there might be one or two on or near the front edge of the side skirt that have to come loose for the fender to come off, but I may be wrong.
