Here's the deal. I have a 98 civic. I want the 99-00 si wheels on it. Get rid of the plastic hubs that look really crappy. Options.
Ebay (looking at about 500 for 4 used wheels and tires maybe cheaper if I can pick them up, i've been watching and bidding on a few for about 3 weeks here and nothing has worked out well so far, but I can watch and wait)
partstrain hands down has the best price for replicas and refurbished.

these won't come with center caps, but I can more than likely get some center caps via my uncle who does work with a chain of wrecking yards or via ebay. bonuses will be brand new looking wheels and brand new tires.

eagle alloy series 104. these look exactly like the civic ones. I think they're a little shinier (which i'm not super keen about the chrome wheel look) I don't have to get center caps, and they'll cost about the same as the refurbished ones. 120 each is about the price they'll cost w/o tires

The refurbished and reps from partstrain are made/repaired by the same company, and can be bought at many places.
cost for reps and shipping from partstrain is 325ish
cost for refurbs and shipping partstrain is 530ish
i'll still have to get tires (estimate 60 each cause i wont buy racing tires just good all weathers) and say $20 for center caps
reps pt= 585

i'm thinking i'll go for the pt reps. Brand new rims, brand new tires for a bit more than ebay. Yeah with ebay i'd prolly get some sweet falken racing wheels, but they'll also be used. If i get the new rims and tires I know they'll last me and with the e-bay ones i'll prolly have to pay to get them balanced anyway.
what do you guys think? Do the reps have anything that makes them not as good as the refurbs or used ones? Can you really even tell the difference?

i think the reps would be your best bet for a little more money, you no your getting your moneys worth..but refubs and used can be really nice sometimes, you just need to find the right ones and trust who you are buying from...dont buy them unless you got some pic of all the tires and rims, it would be better if you could see them first...i no when i was searching for wheels and tires i found some REALLY great deals on the net for really cheap, but like i sead, reps would be your best bet
