Default rims and winter?

hey, i'm planning on getting some 17's within the next couple months, just wondering what you guys do with your rims during the winter. should i keep the steelies on till spring and just get some cheap winter treads?

I always threw my 17s in the garage and rocked the steelies from the first snow until mid-march. When you store the 17s, make sure theyre away from electrical outlets, according to my old chem teacher, something with the electricity can break down the rubber in tires (I forget what it was exactly... I never really paid attention in school lol).

The salts and sands on the roads will probably cause a lot faster wear. I would take nice rims off for the winter.

Steelies only during winter even though it doesn't see snow or salt. only rain

I usually slap on my stock wheels when winter comes.

lol I can safely say Cooper Zeon ZPTs quickly become slicks in the snow... it takes about half a second for the tread to fill with snow... but sliding all over the place is kind of fun
