Go with the black slips and get the 16's. It's just my opinion, but I think the 16" slips look much better than the 15" ones.

slips for sure... it's hard to make painted rims looks good... Then again, I am a huge fan of black rims. Well, I was until everyone started getting them where I live... Isn't that how it always works? You get something that nobody else has and a week later everyone has it?

Bottom line: go with the slipstreams in flat black
hahaha, i REALLY know what you mean, i got my rims a long time ago because no one had black with polished lip rims, plus it matched my hood, then as soon as i got them, about a couple of weeks later, everyone that was into cars started putting the same type of rim i got, it's like having a bunch of little brothers all wanting to copy you, and it really pisses me off! yeah, they have a lot of colors, and i'm really leaning towards the slips, and i don't want to spend that much money on a rim that's just an inch smaller, i'm looking into comfort/little performance, rather than half/half, civics are just civic's, they won't handle like a dream with a little stiffer sidewall

and to mill, i haven't got them yet because i saw a bunch of pictures with the red gt3's and i kinda liked it, so that's why i didn't get them

but now, the poll tells it all, so i'm probably getting the slipsfor sure now

and btw, does anyone know exactly which honda center caps will fit them, i've heard the new odyssey wheels, new pilot wheels, or prelude center caps will fit, but i'm just confused now and i can't find out anywhere?

How much d they weigh? I like the Traklite 2.0s (black with polished lip) because they weigh only 10 lbs. THAT'S incredibly light for a 15 incher. There is an 11-lb 16-incher, but it costs over $300 each.

nah, i want a 15" rim for comfort, it's not so much the weight factor, because right now, i think my wheels weight like 23 lbs. each plus about 21 lbs. per tire, so a 10+lb. weight reduction plus the weight reduction of the tire, my acceleration and braking will be a lot better, plus there won't be as much stress on everything (i.e. brakes, axles, motor, suspension, etc) i'm just looking for something cheap and functional in terms of weight, and that's where the slips come into play.

Some cheap 15-inch wheels can weigh 18 lbs! I suggest that you find out what your new wheels weigh before buying them. I agree that reducing the weight of each wheel by 10 lbs will make a HUGE difference in ride quality. The 10-lb Traclites are expensive at $232 each, but are probably the lightest 15-inchers out there.
