You'll always see those scratches with touch up. If you want it shiny you'll have to have it filled and sprayed. No amount of buffing is going to help that out.
Why do people do that kinda of stuff?

Yeah, its total C**p tht ppl do it, but the sadiest thing of all is tht i only left the car for 1 hr and i was only in the flat, which is like 3 meters away. Im gutted. Ive only had it two months. Well, I was thinkin of a spray anyway, What about some vinyls??? Would they cover it and stop the rust???
Hate to hear that happened to you man.[:@] If you put vinyls on there, the scratches would definitely have to be prepped and sealed before application to prevent rust. Plus you don't want the scratch impression showing underneath. But, if you were planning on getting it repainted anyway, that definitely be your best bet. Best of luck to ya!
Ok thanks guys. Ive got a guy coming to work 2day to give us a quote for the job, i will post the rough estimate for u all to laugh at, as we all know that the prices in uk are just nasty!!!!!
that's pretty harsh. when i bought my civic, i parked it in front of the mall ran in for no more then 15 minutes. come out: passenger side mirror smashed. not just the glass, the plastic cracked.. luckly i phoned a junk yard and found 1 in perfect condition for $20. So i got lucky.. but ya i know.. why the hell do people do that!? retards..
key scratches are really hard to fix and if you arent going topaint the whole car then it will be noticable. your only chance id to paint the whole thing and if you do decide to go the vinyl route you should seal the scratches with some sort of touch up paint or something and then wet sand the area smooth with 1500 grit sand paper so it doesnt show up through the decal. after wet sanding you will need to run a buffer over it to make it shine again before putting the decal on
Thanks for the advice, the "chips Away" bloke is comin to my house on 4th July (Seems to be a important day i believe) to do the work, he reckons that he can get it looking almost new. I will post some pics so you guys can praise or disgrace him. He is goin to be out side my place for 6 HOURS. I decided not to pay the $1500 (£450) for the total respray, cant aford it, and knowing my look, the little ****er will probly key it again once its looking ok. Ive decided not to bother getting the bumper fixed, as it is only a minor dent, and save me cash so i can get a body kit or something like that.
