stick with the OEM EX/VX lip you already have. Buy some smaller wheels (go with 16" if you like bigger wheels... I personally wouldn't go 17" because I think most 17" wheels look goofy on an EG) instead... and a drop.

I like the splash shield. It just makes the car feel more complete to me, in a way. Keeps splashing out of the engine bay. Definitely don't remove the fender liners... I did and it makes the wheel wells look goofy from an angle because you can see the back of the bumper. Just get the plastic screws you need and secure the splash shield properly. Buy from the dealer or a dealer website (majestic honda)... it's kind of a ripoff but they're only plastic screws so you're not gonna spend that much total anyway. If you order online try to order from a dealership website close to you (such as one in California)... you usually can save a little bit on shipping. For example, I usually try to look up the part numbers I need on one site, then go to the Delray Acura site and see if they have those same parts (since Delray is near me, shipping is only like $5 as opposed to the $12 you pay at Majestic or others).

 

Thanks man but for now im gonna keep it off. It can look goofy for a little bit, just while i get the good ex lip. I didnt take the fender liners off! That would be ugly! yeah the lip is really f-ed up too. Like i said im gonna swap it for another ex one. Its just really broken from the inside, right now the only thing keeping it on is like one screw and some duct tape i just put on it i need to swap it ASAP. Of course im gonna keep the fogs

 

 

I can understand pulling it off if it the guard is hanging down excessively, but shouldn't it be there to divert air under the car and not getting "trapped" within the engine bay? j/w

 

hmmmmm... true.. but wouldnt that be a good thing? I dont know maybe getting more air/cooler air into a short ram? Just wondering. But yeah, when its hitting the wheels and the ground i dont think its a positive anymore. At least until i get the right screws

 

I think the drag you create would cancel out any gains from getting any cooler air.

Lol yeah good luck to me! I browsed the local shop and they only have dx's! Not what im looking for! So i got on the official Honda site.... holy hell 299 dollars just for a fender!!! Im not even sure if it comes painted! I think my only choices are looking for shells on craigslist or part outs and the scrap yard! Thats it!
