I like the look of side marker. Do you think it is worth all the work to put them in. Is it hard to do myself?If i do this i am going to put the JDM side markers in. I like the smooth look. I dont want them to pop out like a big bump. What do you guys think

 

i use to have those in my car a long time ago....i think you can do either only white or amber anymore,I use to have blue but got too hassled by cops.They look ok and everything but if you decide to get rid of them or done like them anymore your gonna have a decent size hole in your fenders.

 

Wha did the cops say about them. Ya i know but they look good in amber on the black car.

 

I have considered that myself, I think you should give it a shot, and update us on the look, I am interested in seeing it, I just don't have time to do it right now, lol.

You gonna wire them to the turn signal / parking lights so they flash with the signals and stay on with the parking lights ? I think thats a nice look.

 

if you think you can do it them go for it,i think they look pretty good.i would likethem also but im not willing to pay to get them done, and i know if i do it myself i will mess something up.and blue lights while car is moving = cops wont leave you alone+ilegal.

 

yeah i had mine blink with the turn signals...half the cops cared and the other half didnt i guess it just kinda depends on if they are having a bad day or not.I havent seen anyone with those anymore except for the impreza's and stuff like that.

 

I cant decide to get these eather, If I do I wont be putting a hole in my fender. I will be installing them like MXS did, just take the front part of the side molding off and replace it with a side marker, since a hole is there already..no need to cut. Just make sure the sidemarket backing is flat so you just run the wires though the hole.

Btw, I dont no why all cars dont have these, I think they should make them manditory..it is a BIG safty feature when your driving on the highway and switching lanes

 

Can you not have them on your cars? I want to put amber ones on my car am i going to get pulled over everyday?
