Should I either buy rims for my 03 civic coupe or should I buy performance parts like an intake or something like that. And also does it really matter what brand rims I get.

 

I say get the "go" before you get the "show". Brand of rims does matter though. Higher quality metals and better quality finish. You'll get what you pay for.

 

what kind of performance parts are you looking at doing, the basic I/H/E? IMO i would do wheels and a drop. but i do believe in go before show though.

 

honestly, its a 7th gen civic what i personally feel is the weakest performing generation civic, so i would go with the wheels myself unless you plan motor swap to one of the better platforms.

 

Rim brand dose not matter so much as the specs of the rims you are buying

Is it cast or forged?

what material is it made out of?

Painted or powder coated?

How much dose each rim weigh?


Some brands are known for quality but you can find excellent rims made by a no name company, just do reearch.

However, I am personally a "Go before show" guy as well. However, it is your money so do what YOU want to YOUR car.

 

true i definitley want to do I/H/E i already have the exhaust tho so idk i might go with the rims first
