Why do you want a type R.. Those are only in Kilometers. At longest you get a gauge cluster from your same generation it should be plug and play and the tach will work.

What yr and model

the first would be the one i needed ... but how hard is this gonna be to re-wire because the stock cluster is just a speed gauge . lol

You don't have to re-wire anything it's just plug and play, and the tach should work. You can swap the speedo so you can still keep your current mileage. Don't try to pop out the needle because the chances are really high that you will mess up the speedo gauge

Ok this topicmay be out of context with my current situation but would a 92-95 Honda Civic EX / SI Instrument Cluster work on my 1993 DX? WhatI mean is would it be fully operational? everything would work and I wouldnt have to rewire anything? I know that most are just plug and play but the one I found on E-bay has a different type layout than what I am used to seeing.
