I BARELY asked for an opinion i mostly asked for the best way to make it happen, and everyone i have told about it, besides you, have said that was a sweet idea and they couldn't wait to see it. So only you have knocked it so far. Go have fun with your tail pipe for a while.

Ok, I have been sittin on this for a while, i have never seen it before and damn sure havn't seen it around where i am, but i am planning on doing suicide rear doors to my 4door, i just have some questions for everyone: 1) Does anyone think i shouldn't 2)has anyone seen it (on a EG civic 4 door) 3) if i do it i have to move the handles, should i shave them, and if i do, should i shave the fronts too. I'm not worried about what it will cost i already got hinges for it and the know-how, I DON"T however kno how to do the shaving and wiring accuator to the doors but that isn't anything for my guys to do but i got someone for it. LET ME KNOW!

If your gonna do it, your either going to have to move the handles to the front or shave them and put poppers in.. The easiest way would be the poppers.. and/or solenoids. I've never seen it done on a civic, but I know there's a few how-to's on doing it to a blazer... it should basically be the same.

I happen to think suicide rear doors on a sedan would look ok. My big thing is I honestly like the idea of relocating the door handles to the fron of the rear doors rather than shaving them though. I am a big fan of the 62/63 Lincolns with the suicide rear doors on it though.
