I have a 98 civic ex silver, and im looking for some nice tail lights because I have the stock ones which are sooooo ugly and ruin my car. So pleae post some pics or give me some websites with some HOT taillights, THANKS BROS

 

coupe or sedan?

 

Just get tail lights off a 99-00

 

doesn't the 98 ex come with the red/white or is that only the 99-00? if it is the red/white...i'd just stay with those. those look clean

 

the 96-98 are red/amber. only the 99-00 come with the red/clears. I would suggest you go with the stock 99-00 red/clears or get completley clear ones like this...

but be careful, the clear ones might be illegal in your area but i never gotten any sh*t for having them...i have red bulbs and i got pulled over for having my brights on and the cop didnt say anything...

I think you have to have red in your taillights to be legal but im not entirely sure. I got these on my 97 coupe but they leak horribly and im probably going to replace them with 99-00 taillights when i find them.

iv always been a fan of the clears...i would get thos if your gunna go aftermaket for tails, or get the stock red/clear

 

i hate the all clear ones because when they light up, they light up pink and it looks kinda gay to me....( i know this b/c a friend has them on his eclipse [:@])

bah you're all wrong. the 96-98 EX coupes were the only ones that were just red/white. everything else had amber. but then in 99-00 all the coupes were only red/white. the sedans had amber the whole time, but there are aftermarket taillights that you can buy that are just red and white with no amber for the sedans (wink wink remmy)

i ask again...is it a coupe or sedan?
