Default Tail Lights Missing Socket

So, I bought these tail lights on eBay for my 93 hatchback:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...749&rd=1,1

The only problem is that they are missing the top socket on the inner tail light on both sides. I know, this might sound confusing, so I'll post pictures later. Basically there is no socket to screw in the top bulb on the smaller tail light peice.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? If so, is there some solution? is there anyway I can buy a socket to attach to the back of the tail light?

I have Emailed the seller, and of course, I have not received a reply.

Am I screwed?

There is no way to place a bulb in that part of the housing? Is that what you mean?

I got some tail lights and the little bulb didn't have a place to screw it and everything i noticed works so I let it hang.

Yes, thank you!

That's the best way to describe it...Like instead of there being that plastic peice to twist the socket and bulb into, there is absolutely nothing. You can see right through to the inside of the actual red tail light casing.

I know this is a horrible description without some pics, but I'm in class right now and I don't have any batteries for my digital camera.

The only thing is, is that there are two holes along the outside that look like it is intended to attach that socket. That's why I'm thinking (and hoping) that somehow, I can buy the plastic socket somewhere.

Am I confusing the hell out of you?

I was thinking about letting it hang. However, I'm pretty mucha perfectionist, and I'm worried about the bare bulb bouncing off of the casing and having to replace bulbs every few weeks.

I just don't like to do things half-assed, no offense to you or anything, but that would bother me.

Cut it and wrap it in electric tape leave enough so you can re attach the socket if you need to.Is what I say Mr perfectionist.

Hm. You could prob dremel out and socket yourself. It's just a twist on am I right. Electrical Tape that sucker on there if you want a quick fix.

Ok, I finally have a picture to help me out a little bit:

A: The green "A" shows the placement for the top socket and bulb

B: The green "B" shows that there is nothing there to put the bottom socket and bulb.

Notice that the green arrows are pointing at two holes that look like something could clip to. I'm hoping that that part exists somewhere to put there.

Or atleast, by looking at this picture, what solutions can you suggest for the bottom bulb?

Actually, that peice right there would just be for a running light when I have my headlights on.

The only brake light that '93 hatchbacks have is on the bottom corner peice.

Thanks for your help, BTW. I'm just pretty ticked about these lights right now.
