Default Tan To Black?

I have a 98 LX that come with the God awful tan interior. I really want a black interior. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or could guide me in the right direction. Thanks.

you could try carpet dye and painting your plastic parts on the dash and doors, but that's a painstaking process.

Duplicolor makes a Vinyl paint, should work on door panels, but idk that itll be as good as stock. As far as carpeting goes.......but an entire new carpet, in black. Im going to buy black replacement carpet in spring. My interior is grey. Black matches anything.

I was thinking of getting some black carpet and maybe some black seats. Then doing the dash and random pieces in grey and finally getting a carbon fiber kit. I think that would be cool. The only problem I see with that is the dang seatbealts. It will take some time, but I know it will definitely be worth it.

if you get racing seats you will have no need for the old seatbelts and you could scrap 'em.

My car is a 4 door and I want to keep the seatbelts. I just want the seatbelts to match the rest of the car.
