Default Thinking of changing sideskirts... PICS added.

I'm seriously thinking of changing my sideskirts to EKs. When I first got my lip kit I really didn't like the Type Zero skirts because of the vent. I wanted something without vents and contours etc for a more clean JDM look. I just could not find any skirts that fit my taste so I just got those instead as they seemed to be the only ones available that were anywhere close to conservative. I recently found out EK skirts will fit with very little modification, so I think I am going to check a few salvage yards for some. Here is an example of an EJ1 with EK skirts. This is just super clean IMHO and more along the lines of what I wanted initially. What do you guys think?

Yeah, there's always been something about these sideskirts that kind of irk me. I called around and I definitely won't have a problem finding any. They run for about $30-$35 each. Just need to find some in good condition...

EDIT: I found a DIY where a guy put sideskirts on a sedan from a coupe. [&:]??? Anyone have any input on fitment regarding coupes, hatches, and sedans? Are they all interchangeable? Thanks in advance...

Thanks for the replies everyone... I'm going for it. I think the rear is what differs from what I've read so far. Where there is not a door on the coupes and hatches, there will be a kind of blank spot on the rear door for a sedan. So I'll just be sure to get either coupe or hatch skirts. I'll post some pics when I get it on...

Update... Well I got the skirts on and they look good. $75 bucks off of a 98 coupe. Just a few modifications to get them on. Washed them and treated them with mothers back to black and kiwi shoe polish to eliminate the white scuff marks.(yes it works well) I will paint at a later date... I think I need to lower my car a bit more now to complete the look I want. I want the tires to tuck just a tad so I'll need to get some more lowering springs and possibly a camber kit. I couldn't get pics because of the rain we've been having and the garage is too dark to get a good look. I'll post pics on this thread when I get a chance. Thanks again for the input fellas...

We finally got a break from the rain so I got a few pics of the EK skirts. Fitment is great and I think it looks real good. The Type Zeros were bulky, I never liked the vents on the side, almost toyish looking... let's just say I was growing very tired of them. I like the clean polished look of the EK skirts much better. I plan on getting some adjustable coilovers/springs and a camber kit very soon to drop it a bit more. Anyway here are the pics for now...
