Make sure you check with what the legal limit in your state is before you get it done, unless of course you don't mind a little ticket now and then. I'd also ask around to see how strict the police are in your area.

20% is basically what everyone gets.. where im from (NYC)....its a little on the dark side but anything lighter kinda defeats the purpose...i have 10% all around...but it does mess up visability, but I only got pulled over once in the last year just for ...and trust me NYPD will find any reason to pull you over....i say go with 20.....if its too dark you can go to lighter...but u know u wont need to go darker....well hope iw as able to help u in making ur decision

I'd just go with the legal limit wherever you are at, unless the limit is ridiculously dark.

I have 35%, cuz that is as dark as I can go here, and I still get hassled from time to time by small town cops, but none of the 'real' cops care.

But since it isn't too dark, they can't do anything, and that's the way to keep it...

it's all personal preference.

just remember, the window itself adds approximately 2 to 3% on top of your actual tint percentage. i've got 25%, but it seems a little too gray for my taste, i'd say go the 20 or 25 % route.

^ yeah, if you have a grey interior, it will make the tint look lighter, as well as make the inside of your car look green from the outside
