Tinted Windows
I want to put window tint, intake valve, and a newexhaust system (maganflow), and wheels and rimson myon my 98 honda civic, but i do know that the magaflow exhaust system for my car will run me about $400 easily and then another $160 for my mechanic to put it in for me. But for the rest of the stuff i want to put on my car i have no clue how much for everything to get done.
for the window tint it all depends where u go to get it done and if u can get discounts since i know an owner and im in a racing team near me i can have my whole car windows tinted for 50 bucks i dont think thats a bad deal but idk how much it would be where you are. and for the intake valve are you talking about a cold air intake? if so that can be done very cheap but it will look good
please dont pay anyone to do that stuff for you. seriously, its super easy to put in an exhaust. its a matter of a jack and socket wrench. not hard at all. if you know how to drive and what end of a screw driver works you should be smart enough to do it. and 400 bucks is pretty steep for an exhaust.
i agree with baron i always do all my mods. it also gives you a chance to gain experience and gives you a chance to be able to say "I DID THIS" a set of hand tools and a little common sense. thats all you need.
I did all my exaust work with a friend and it's super easy, just make sure it's for your car so it'll line up right and have some WD-40 near by. The tint for my whole car cost $100 for 10% it might differ abit where you are and if you get a lighter tint. Check your laws.
yah man i put a 100 dollar cat back exhaust system with a 5 inch tip i know it was a big tip but it was cheap and it was made by holley and it sounds real good and i did it myself and and took 2 days to get the old off and 30 mins to put the new on and my tint costed 80 bucks for 20 perecent to be put on

Try driving on the interstate for a couple hours with that loud exhaust... nearly drove me insane when I had one.
I would definitely recommend against cheaping out on an exhaust system. Unless quality isn't a factor to you.
And the tint, don't do it yourself. If you mess it up, your screwed; if they mess it up, they gotta fix it. I got lifetime tint for $100 at my local tint/car audio place; they'll replace it for free if it goes bad.
yah on my exhaust it was 400 dollars on holley.com but i only paid 100 for it brand new and it sounds real good i think and that dont bother me on a interstate i drive on them for hours and i am just used to it or i listen to the radio and i look at it as damn if it goes bad o well it was only 100 dollars and buy a new one but hell man put your exhaust on yourself it will save you alot of money
Definitely put the intake and exhaust in yourself (unless it's cold air, you could still do that but it would be a little harder) Definitely don't do the tint yourself. and just do lots of homework before you get/do anything. good luck!
