just remember the darker you go the more you wanna ugrade your brake lights.. thats why i left my lower section clear and put some red bright *** leds in them.
at night time you wont have a problem... but during a bright day it wil be hard to see yoru brake lights...

steelies look like crap, the only way I think it is acceptable is if you plan on getting rims in the really near future...like within a week.
