Default Tried to wire halos...no dice

I recently purchased a set of Anzo USA halo/projectors for my 98 Civic coupe. It's all plug n' play except for the halos. Which, consequently, is the only part of the headlight that isn't working. There's two halos on each headlight. The halos are already grounded, so I've only got to attach the red wires(one for each halo on each side, so a total of 4). I spliced one red wire to the other, then spliced that wire into what I understand is the wire for the parking lights(Red/blk wire). Below is the diagram a referenced to deduce that I want to use the Red/blk wire. Am I using the right wire?

i'd just wire them to their own switch, off of the interior fuse box. You prolly won't want them on whenver your running lights are on, so with them on their own switch it'd be easier to wire and keep them alive longer (won't burn out as quickly)
