Default Type-R lips

Ok so i bought the type R lips and i have a few questions. Are they easy to install? And with my rear lip i think i would have to modify it or try to lower my muffler because its almost right on my bumper as it is.

What would you do?

What I would do is get rid of that muffler and put a stock one or one that will allow the lip to install properly.

i say remove the muffler and reinstall it with the rear lip in place, the muffler wasn't even installed correctly in the first place anyway.

Bought the car from a friend. All i have done so far is tint the windows and drop it. He had the muffler and engine work already done. How is it not installed correctly?

How is it not installed correctly?
1. It's not centered with the exhaust opening on the bumper.
2. It's not even straight.
3. It's probably not level.
4. It's not properly cut to length.
