type-r vs mugen

type-r vs mugen
lookin at a front lip for my 99 4dr. whats ur opinion, do u think one looks better? i dont really know much. i have a type-r grill. there is also i jun lip, never heard of it. anyone knowwhat its like? cheers

Personally, I favor the mugen-style lips (though I have one, so I'm a little biased). I'm not saying the type-r lip doesn't look awesome, but I absolutely love how the mugen lip looks. Also, in theory, the two vents on the mugen lip direct air to the front brakes, helping cool them. I'm sure this feature is not present in mugen-style lips (like those you'd buy from HMotorSports and StreetStyler), and even if you bought a true Mugen lip you probably wouldn't notice a difference on the streets, but it's still cool to think about. And as for the Jun lip, you could look at Flip's Gallery... he has a Jun lip on his EK.

there about the same ones stock factory witch is the type r and the mugen is factory performnce the mugen is more noticeable but not to big and rice the type-r not as noticeable depends on wat you want your car to look like
i like them both they both look good its a hard pic or buy both and change them around time to time lol

Get a combination of both, the spoon lip! Erebuni makes a sick spoon style lip, take a look at one, that's what I'm getting for my 4 door. (Just so you know, lots of companies make a "spoon lip" that is actually a mugen style lip, so make sure you know what you're buying looks like, should look like this one...
