Anyone have a blk civic with red or blue underglow ? I can't really decide between the two...

 

Neither I had them, they just are a pain in the ***. Get you in trouble. And look horrible

 

It all depends on the color scheme your going for. If you have red on your car, go red, if you have blue, go blue. But im with him^ I was just about to go pick up a set a long wile ago, but its not worth it. There old now.

 

i agree with mill$ 100%, back in the day when they were popular, i still thought they look like crap lol

 

some people consider them rice now also. they were cool when the first fast and the furious came out but i agee with ej and mill.

 

lol u bandwagon bums....if you like em get em......screw wats popular...i personally say red, school colors were red and black and that combo is beast.....u should talke to addicted2bass he's got hella xperience with em and his look sick....his car def dissproves the rice = underglow

im switching out my custom cold cathodes for some newer BUT more expensive lights.... 6ft flexable LED strips just like i used in my gauges..... but 6ft length each
i just bought 2 6ft strips for my front and rear swap.... 12 prewired flux leds for my tinted taillights... i dont want to sand off my tint so im making them brighter for daytime use LOL
eventualy ill swap out all my underbody cold cathodes for the led flex strips.... tho they are twice as much BUT are sealed and flexable.... so routing and hiding them are should be extremly easy!!!!!


in my opinion which i say all the time UB light is only as good as its planed and instaled.....

which do you prefere?














just needs to be done right first things first..... HIDE ALL THE BULBS!!!!!
second try to light the vehicles UB corner to corner... wheel to wheel.... and if you want it realy nice do it all the way around even around the wheels like i want to do as well.........

im somewhat conflicting with my green UB and blue interior.... BUT i got to much stuff already in my car that i cannt make green.LOL but they are at least seperated....

personally, I'm not a big neon fan, but it is your car.

Now, check with your local PD about legal light colors, because I know where I live, lights are legal as long as you aren't driving UNLESS they are blue, red, or purple... EVEN in they are off when driving, they are illegal, the goal being to prevent people from imitating emergency vehicles (the purple apparently confuses some people with slow tracking vision, they think it is flashing red and blue).

So yea.... check before you buy.

 

ya here the three illegal colors are red blue and green..... but ok IVE NEVER seen a vehicle with green lights.LMFAO i swear they just throw out a BS color....

but here they cannt ticket you unless the bulbs are visable and its one of those colors.....
everytime i drive at night i got my greens on rollen around everywhere! tho i have been hurased about them ya.... BUT i never got a ticket! alls i tell them is that i talked to a sherrif officer and he said its only illegal if the bulbs are visable.... then he started stutering and tried looking all over my truck for something that he could ticket me for.LMFAO
funny thing was i didnt have any liscence plate lights and thats the one thing he never noticed.LMFAO
he tried saying it was illegal over and over.... but he could only give me a verbal warning....LOL needless to say i drove 20ft away from him and flicked it back on!!!
