Hey everyone, I'm new here. I have a 2008 Civic 4 door. It's silver. I love this car!!! Only thing I don't much care for is the light grey interior. It's ALL grey. The floors, doors. headliner, mats, seats, dash etc. It shows dirt and i feel like I have to be very careful with it. Also I want to darken it up a bit and go with full black interior. Anyone know of any companies or anything that offer interior swaps?

Also, I wanna get black seat covers but can't find any that will function properly with the seat air bags.

Is this interior as fragile as I feel it is? Or am I being too paranoid? The car was a gift from my Mom right before she passed of Cancer and I want to preserve it as long as possible.

black will show more dirt than gray, but isn't your steering wheel black? I'm debating on replacing every gray part for my interior with black, but again, the problem is that it shows more dirt.

 

you mite get lucky and find what you want at a car yard search around. the seats could be re wraped in leather if you got the money or you can dye them with automotive interior dye. they also make seatcovers specifically designed for different seats try www.coverking.com there not cheap though .

 

You really shouldn't mess with such a new car like that. You should just sell it and get an '08 or '09 with an already black interior. I think you're going to ruin the interior if you try something.

 

It will be really hard to find all the interior for a car as new as yours. And even though you want to keep the car as a sentimental, your best bet would be to sell it and find one you really want. Being as its still pretty new, might as well sell while you can still get a good chunk of change out of it.

And as far as black and dirt, black shows it more, but you can just brush it off and good as new. Black will hide stains and stuff pretty well.

 

+1, but only the 09's now come in black........unless you get a Si.
But i feel you, i have a 08 Lx with dark gray interior and i cant stand it.
If anything, i have seen on ebay full interior swap's from a Si for $700.00
