its called squeezing your eyes shut real tight lol...........I wear one when welding a solid bead but when I'm just tacking I dont wear one because it just gets in the way
Cutting goggles retro-fitted with an auto-dark lens should be your next mod. Seriously....and a respirator wouldn't kill ya (but not having one...yadda yadda yadda cough cough)

We do a lot of body work so we actually have several respirator's but we really only wear them when painting
Not hating...just saying...that stuff adds up...You look like your welding next to a painted surface on the firewall...Burning paint = toxins....

I used to weld galvanized pipe and do mucho fiberglass/wood work...I don't think my lungs liked my youthful pride. Just saying watch out is all...
