Hi Guys and Gals

Does any1 have any tips on how to remove a vinyl sticker? I have removed the badges from my civic using petrol and a credit card, and its worked a treat, but im stuck on how to remove the vinyl from under the indicator lights.

gas or "petrol" is not the best way to do that. if it didnt mess up your paint then you are lucky. little bits like when you take the nossle out after filling it isnt abig deal, but using it as a decal remover is not a good idea. im not sure where you are or what they have their, but here in the states you can get wood grain remover. it is for removing the fake wood grain they liked to use in the 80's. just spray it on kinda heavy and the scrape it off with your credit card. yo umight have to do it twice, but it will work great. you can also get other types of decal removers that should all work just fine.

On my old car, I just got my fingernail under them and peeled as much as I could. Gave it a good wax afterward and it looked perfect.

that works just fine for removing the decal, but often times it will leave glue behind so he will still have to use one of our methods for removing the glue. i only remove my weight in decals in a 2-3 month period at work so dont listen to me, i dont have a clue
