Weird new kind of gauges?

RE: Weird new kind of gauges?
This is true. Thinking more about it, Im becoming a bit more skeptical about installing them. Which sucks, cause its not like I can return em. I guess I'll just sell em if they turn out to be crap.
Does anyone know of another style of aftermarket gauges? Ive got a 2000 Ex - manual trans. Thanks!

RE: Weird new kind of gauges?
I posted these on another forum, and someone on there actually knows someone with these gauges.
LOL, my homie actually has this on his EK. :P
he even slapped the CTR carbon fiber trim on it. It's a damn nice cluster.
best of all.. it calibrates itself (full sweep of gauges) on startup like DEFI gauges. :]

Sick! Im glad I bought them :-) Woohoo!
Only thing Im worried about is the odometer. I guess I can just find someone to roll it up to my mileage? If not, I can rebuild my motor sooner than I expected - Ive needed an excuse to do so anyways :-P

RE: Weird new kind of gauges?
The first time I saw these I sent an email to the people who make them, there is no way to roll the odometer to the correct miles on your car. It will just start at 0, I would just keep the old odometer around so you can add that mileage to the mileage on the new gauge to see how many you have total.

Unless you could send an electrical signal to the odometer wire until it rolls up to the right milage, of course you'd need wiring diagrams and need to know what kind of electrical signal it was.
