If you lower the car, make sure you do something about the negative camber that will result. You will go through tires much faster without proper adjustment. I went with Skunk2 upper control arms and rear camber links because of the quality craftsmanship and use of polyurethane bushings which will make your car really handle well. I got mine off of ebay and have no regrets.

Not true. Toe is key. Set toe to 0º by getting an alignment and you will be fine. Camber rarely kills tires. I'm riding lowered 2" with a good alignment (toe set to 0º) and no camber kit (so I have a couple degrees of negative camber) and I have damn near perfectly even tire wear. Been riding on these tires for 6 months.

Other members here can vouch for this through their own experience. Reaper_2022 used to have a 92-95 Coupe that was slammed with no camber kit, had 3º of negative camber, and his tire wear was fine also. He just had toe set to 0º.

Without a camber kit, you'll lose a few hundred miles off the life of your tires... not a big price to pay considering a good camber kit for both the front and rear is around $250 or more. An entire set of decent tires can be had for $225-250. Save the money and just buy tires 6 weeks earlier than you would with perfect camber, not a big deal. You can put the saved money towards your new tires.
