Last fall i got this hood really cheap and i decided to put it on and i kind of like it. what does everone think of it? also i was thinking to paint it same collor as the car or paint it black becasue the collor is fading. Which color do u think would look better. also i am gona paint the mirrors,trim and door handles same collor as the car. my summer wheels are silver too. suggestions?

oh come on man....thast a little harsh......but i'd have to agree with the general consensus. It's a bit much....

 

Hoods like that belong on fox body mustangs, not civics.. but thats just my opinion

 

You know you could get away with it, with the right set of wheels, and I would go with the black and silver. Change out the lights to black projection halos or some sort, and ablack lower lip. If the hood is black, why paint the door handles, mirros and trim to silver? There is a lot of civics out there that are running the aggressive cowl hoods. I think right now it looks out of place, but its different and thats what I think is cool. Make it flow with the rest of the car somehow!

 

Maybe if you were driving a crazy, steroided V8 drag racer. But as for your Civic... I'm sorry, brother.

Put the stock one on, and Craigslist that.

 

Those hoods are for cars that have huge engines that dont fit on regular hoods.
