I have a 00 civic with stock housing/headlights. I am wanting to get an HID 6000k converison kit, but not sure what's a good reliable brand.

ok I now read retrofit is better, but which one's are good?

 

retrofits would definitely be the best you can get. sticking hid's into stock housing would shoot the light everywhere blinding other drivers and being pulled over by the cops. seems to me many people are doing the tsx and the s2000 projector retrofits. probably because it's easier to be fitted?

 

yea from what i have heard most use s2000 or tsx projectors. retrofits are good but require a good bit of work and a bit more $. as far as the brand, a few of my friends have xentech and xenith and havent had much trouble. 1 yr. warranty. I, on the other hand spent a bit more and got a mcculloch kit.
