What is funny is that we're all speculating here... we have different cars and go to different shops.... why cant you guys just go to an auto painter and get quoted? It is no obligation!

it would take more effort and time but way more less moeny if you just prepped and painted yourself.. and then you got sumthin to really be proud of too.. if you preped and painted yourself you'd probly be lookin around.... 5 or 6 hundred (depending on the paint) and thats including a booth to spray it in

i go quoted $1200 for the stock flamenco black, with a 3 year warranty.

i live in chicago illinois and if you want life time guarantee proffessional paintjob it was 2500, they paint inside + out, frames and everything

i got my car done metallic black paint (stock paint of 95 civic coupe) for 600$, it was done in three days and i got 6 year warranty and it's been a year and nothing has happened so far. if you ask me it was the best deal i could get around here, the shop's located northside chicago on irvin park + western avenue, they took out the small tents i had on my fender and on my hood :P
