Guys, I need help.

I am interested in getting a VIS carbon fiber hood ZC for my 1990 civic SI.
The cheapest i can find is 285 on ebay with 150 shipping.

I want to pay no more than 400$, do you guys know where I can find for cheaps.
Recommend some sites or suggestions will be appreciated,
since Im having a major paint job done and need to ship the hood to my mechanic within these 2 weeks.

 

i got mine for $200 from a guy who was parting out his civic and bringing it back to stock so he could trade it in. unfortunately, that route only works if you are in the right place at the right time, or if you know a lot of people who are into civics.

you might try asking around at car stereo places and import car/high performance tuning shops. they might be able to order one for you from the manufacturer and chop that outrageous shipping cost off of there.

 

unfortunately, that kind of price comes only with connections or like clutchjunkie said, being at the right place at the right time. i know the guys at a speed shop in the cities and i got an arospeed vented hood for $350 (wholesale w/ tax)
