I recently purchased a 95 honda civic DX coupe. I am looking for the pure white (not blue) or white ion headlights. I know there is a wattage difference between stock and the plasma lights. Any recommendations to get me close without melting my electrical system or spending $100+ to modify? Any ideas would be great!!!

 

you could get some HIDs, even bixenons, for under $100 or very close (you can message me if you want a good seller); not as good as a retrofit for sure but it works and I have had a friend drive my car while I drove his to see how blinding my lights were and it wasnt bad. If you get 4300K or 5000K bulbs those are both pretty white without the bluish/purplish tint. Or just go with some nice halogen bulbs like the PIAA ExtremeWhites or something

 

Sylvaina silverstars are also an option. About $19 ea and they are a much whiter light than stock. Plug and play into the stock harness. no mods required.

 

I'm a big fan of luminics. Their pure blue is great and heard their titanium or super white lights are very bright. Just google luminics bulbs

 

I will check out those options. I am not in a hurry just yet. Still soaking up the 43+ mpg.
