PIAA is overrated, Genuine HID is the best way to go, uses less power too!

A satisfied customer!

Auto98EX, how much brighter would you say the HID's are compared to your original lights?

Well I was using some crappy generic walmart superwhites before, and I had a pic I took during the install with one HID and one halogen installed at the same time. It's a much better demonstration than trying to explain it. I'll see if I can find that pic at work tomorrow.

Anyway the HIDs are definitely much brighter, although I had to do some adjustment to the driver side headlight to get the right coverage on the road... my driver side headlight housing was pointing practically straight down at the road. They definitely help me maintain vision when I'm driving through bright stoplights and dark areas, which is one of my big gripes about where I live. We have the brightest stoplights ever and no street lights, so if you drive through a green light, you're practically blinded by it.

Bleh, too much talk, I'll try to find or take some pics soon.

I'm tryin to decide whether to go to HID's or just stay with what I've got.

My stock lights on my 05 seem quite bright, and I'm afraid that if I go with HID's that the cops might start pullin me over. And I don't need to be pulled over for stupid stuff, so I'm definitely thinkin hard about it.

well i've passed plenty of cops head-on with mine, and no pullovers so far. The 5300k bulbs are pretty pure white, so I don't think they would attract much attention other than their brightness. Honestly I see people driving around all the time with Halogen knockoffs that have more illegal color to them than my HIDs. I saw an Accord today with more bluish bulbs and it definitely stood out more, so I think maybe if you went with the 6000k or 8000k there would be more risk of cops picking on you, but honestly mine are so white that I've gotten kinda used to it. They are little blue when they are warming up, but after a minute or two they're pretty much straight white, like a fluorescent lamp color. The 5300k is the cheapest kit in the group buy thread, too, so that made it an easy decision for me
