a kid in my class haves the viper alarm with remote start and i have a crime stoper remote start witch is half the price and i get better ranger and if some one walks next to my car or even bumps it, it cherps at them till they go away and if they dant walk away with in 5 sec them main alarm goes off and it is louad. if the car is boosted with out the key in the ignition the car shuts down in 10 sec so the ppl stealing the car wont get to far

 

I got a viper pager alarmand I like it.

still, it's great! and affordable

 

compustar makes a pretty highend alarm comparable to viper...

 

there's an alarm system that locks the drivers into the car and then kills the engine and sets off the horn and headlights, but that one is rediculously pricey.

 

that would be so sweet...lol...and then maybe a video tape of them trying to get out that you can watch after they are arrested...lol

 

did we all for get about a clifford alarm.. which is as good as a viper and at times cheaper...check it out i had it on my rsx type s and now i will install it on my si... it's a great alarm that doesnt go off all the time like them cheap ones...and it has a lcd pager w/kill switch..

 

i want something like that. but im not worried about anyone stealing my car, im just worried about people breaking into my trunk and stealing my stereo. what would you reccomend for something to protect stereos? haha i know that sounds retarded but whatever lol

 

Bolt it down is what some people do. But a alarm would protect your system. As soon as they pop the trunk or brake a window, the alarm would go off. And if you system is in tight, they wont have time to grab it and run off.
