Window Fix

Default Window Fix

Hi guys,
I have power windows.
The window some how jumped off the track. How am I supposed to fix this.
I already removed the door panel and plastic. Where do I go from Here?

this happen twice we me in my old maxima. the 2nd time the window wire popped. If your wire is still good there should be some plastic hooks on the wire. pull the window up all the way up with your hands and then bring the wire up with your window button so u can see the hooks. depending on your door you have to judge the best angle to see the hooks and just slide the window on the hooks. if the wire popped you going to need a new wire system.

okay,
does anyone know where I can find the 2 clips that hold the window to the carriage.
The ******** here in the bahamas at the dealership told me that I have to buy the whole flippin glass and it's for $400.
Have you ever heard any Shhhh I T?
Help me please because I have plastic up at my window right now.

what broke the clips that hold the glass on the wire? if so u might have to buy a new window regulator. Go to the junk yard. Thats were i got mine for about $50

^what are u talking about thats how much they go for in NY and most places. it was under $50 but Tax is what kills us.

ok so apparently they are not sold separately.
I might probably by some plexiglass or get some fiberglass and fabricate the clips myself.

Just really seems like you got ripped off. Did you not negotiate? Most junkyards are pretty flexible. I could have gotten that part for $15 from my junkyard.
